Motion
That this House:
- Notes:
a) Legislation introduced to Parliament usually contains matters that are subject to the future development of regulations;
b) Lack of information about the content of consequential regulations make it difficult for stakeholders and members of Parliament to understand the full ramifications of legislation and to consult and consider it effectively; and
2. Requests the Parliament consider how to amend standing orders to incorporate provision of an exposure draft of regulations to accompany all bills.
